Bartoli Design envisions contemporary escritoirs for contemplation and personal passions

On the occasion of the salone del mobile 2018, Italian design studio Bartoli Design creates the new ‘Poe’ desks for Laurameroni, drawing inspiration from antique escritoires and reinterpreting them with essentiality and lightness.
The design avoids sharp corners, focusing to foster intimacy, introspection and personal passions. The rounded shape and radial colour shading of the top convey the idea of meditation and calmness and two thin legs with ovoidal section gently connect to the table top, with a central beam for further stability.
The desks shape nicely fits in the middle of a room or in small corners, placed in any orientation.
A special edition of ‘Poe’ will be on show at the Salone del Mobile 2018, emphasizing Laurameroni’s manufacturing skills: hand-crafted legs finished in black rye-straw, creating an unrepeatable play of light with unique colour shades, are paired with a glossy-lacquered top featuring a gradient shade in the middle. All parts are made from solid wood.
More finishes include wood or marble for tops and wood, hand-brushed lacquer or metal for legs.
